Lesson Details

We offer private ski & snowboard lessons (1–4 people) at Hoshino Resorts Nekoma Mountain with professional ski & snowboard instructors, perfect for friends, couples, or families who want to learn together. Each instructor provides customized guidance based on individual needs, whether you are a beginner or improving your skills.

Lessons are available in English, Chinese, and Thai, so you can learn comfortably in your own language with our qualified ski & snowboard instructors.


🕒 Lesson Duration & Prices

5 hours (Full-day) ¥75,000 Morning start only. Includes 1-hour lunch break (not counted in lesson time)
3 hours (Half-day) ¥55,000 Available in morning (9:00 AM) or afternoon (1:00 PM)
2 hours (Half-day) ¥45,000 Available in morning (9:00 AM) or afternoon (1:00 PM)

🔹 Extra Time Option:
Add more time for ¥15,000 per hour, depending on instructor availability.


👧 Children's Lessons (Ages 4–10)

For safety and focused instruction, we only offer one-on-one lessons for children aged 4 to 10 with a dedicated ski or snowboard instructor.
Any duration can be chosen. Break time will be arranged flexibly depending on the child's needs.


⏰ Lesson Start Time & Meeting Info

  • Morning & Full-day lessons: Start at 9:00 AM

  • Afternoon lessons: Start at 1:00 PM

  • Please arrive on time.
    If you are late, your lesson will still end at the scheduled time. Unfortunately, we cannot offer make-up time or refunds for late arrivals. Details about the meeting point will be provided after your booking is confirmed.

  • We offer lessons in Chinese, English, and Thai. The number of ski snowboard instructors for each language is limited, so lessons will be arranged based on instructor availability. We recommend booking early to secure your preferred language.

Nekoma Mountain Snow Park & Resort

Nekoma Mountain, operated by Hoshino Resorts, is one of Japan’s largest ski resorts with 13 lifts and 33 courses, spanning both the north and south sides of Mt. Nekomadake. The south side offers wide groomed slopes, while the north features dry powder and a long season from December to May.

From the slopes, you can enjoy breathtaking views of Mt. Bandai, also called Aizu Fuji, and the majestic Lake Inawashiro, the fourth largest lake in Japan — a perfect blend of skiing and scenery.

What is included in the lesson fee?

The lesson fee includes instruction by a certified ski or snowboard instructor. It does not include equipment rental, accommodation, or transportation.

Absolutely! Our ski & snowboard lessons are beginner-friendly and start from the basics like putting on gear and learning the correct posture.

Do you offer equipment rentals?

We do not provide equipment rentals directly, but you can rent skis, boots, and clothing at the Nekoma Mountain rental center. We recommend arriving early to complete the rental process.

What are the operating dates of the ski resort?

The north and south areas of Hoshino Resorts Nekoma Mountain Snow Park & Resort have different operating periods:

  • South Area: late December to late March
  • North Area: early December to early May
