Terms of service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are established by SORA (“the Company”) for ski & snowboard lessons and related services (“the Services”). By using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Scope of Application

These Terms apply to all ski lessons and related services booked via the Company’s website, customer service, or partner platforms.
2. Booking & Payment
-
All lessons must be booked in advance through one of the following channels:
-
Official website
-
Facebook Messenger (customer service)
-
Email (info@sorasnow.com)
-
-
Full payment must be completed within the specified period for the booking to be confirmed.
-
The Company only accepts designated payment methods (e.g., credit card).
-
A confirmation email will be sent to the customer after successful booking.
3. Cancellations & Refunds
-
Cancellations and refunds follow the Company’s Cancellation & Refund Policy. Customers must read and agree to the policy prior to booking.
-
Failure to arrive on time or leaving during the lesson for personal reasons will be treated as a same-day cancellation with no refund.
-
Once a lesson has commenced, mid-lesson refunds will not be provided.
4. Customer Responsibilities
-
Customers must assess their own health and physical condition to determine if they are fit to participate in ski lessons.
-
If there are any health concerns or pre-existing conditions, customers are advised to consult a doctor prior to participation.

Customers must arrive on time at the designated meeting point. Late arrival will shorten the lesson time with no make-up or refund.
-
Customers must follow instructor guidance and comply with ski resort safety rules and regulations.
-
Participants under the age of 18 attending lessons alone must obtain parental/guardian consent, and the guardian must remain on standby within the ski resort during the lesson.
5. Assumption of Risk & Limitation of Liability
-
Skiing and snowboarding involve inherent risks (including injury, property damage, and even death). Customers must acknowledge and accept these risks.
-
Any accidents or damages arising from failure to follow instructor directions, violation of safety regulations, or personal negligence are the sole responsibility of the customer. The Company and its instructors accept no liability.
-
Lessons canceled or altered due to weather, transportation disruption, equipment failure, or other force majeure will be handled according to the Cancellation & Refund Policy, with no additional compensation provided.
6. Insurance & Safety
-
The Company carries basic liability insurance (third-party liability), but coverage is limited.
-
Customers are responsible for their own medical expenses, property loss, or other costs incurred from participation, which should be covered by personal insurance.
-
Customers are strongly encouraged to arrange travel insurance and winter sports insurance.
7. Lesson Suspension & Changes
-
If lessons cannot proceed due to severe weather or complete ski resort closure, the Company will attempt to reschedule. If rescheduling is not possible, a full refund will be issued.
-
If lessons cannot proceed due to instructor illness or emergencies, the Company will arrange a substitute instructor where possible. If not, a full refund will be issued.
8. Intellectual Property & Media Rights
-
Photos or videos taken by the Company during lessons may be used for marketing or promotional purposes. Customers who do not wish to be featured must notify the Company in writing in advance.
-
The Company’s logos, teaching materials, and website content are the property of the Company and may not be used without written consent.
9. Amendments
-
The Company reserves the right to amend these Terms when necessary. Changes will be posted on the official website and become effective immediately. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
-
These Terms are governed by Japanese law. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Yokohama District Court in the first instance.
