Ski / Snowboard Instructors Hiring 2026-2027

Hi there!

We are SORA, an international ski and snowboard school officially partnered with Hoshino Resorts, based at Nekoma Mountain (South & North areas).

We operate an open counter and promotional space inside the resort,
providing multilingual ski and snowboard lessons.
Our team is made up of instructors and staff from different countries, offering services in Chinese, English, and Thai.

We are currently looking for passionate instructors to join our international team.

If you love the winer mountains, enjoy sharing the joy of skiing, and are looking for a unique winter experience 

Ride on light, dry powder in the Tohoku region of Japan,

📍 Work Location

Japan (Main Resorts)

• Tohoku Region｜Nekoma Mountain (South + North Area)

• New resort area in Japan 🆕 (in development)

Work Period

• Season: December 2026 – April 2027 (negotiable)

• Core full-time period: Dec 10 – Mar 31
  (may extend into April depending on resort operations)

• 5–8 days off per month

• Days off can be requested in advance

• Flexible scheduling depending on situation

Training & Development

• Pre-season training (1 week, approx. 5 hours per day)

• Monthly on-snow training sessions

• Half day: approx. 2–3 hours

• Full day: approx. 4–5 hours

• Night training sessions (approx. 2 hours)

What We Provide

• Support for Japan instructor visa application (depending on eligibility)

💰 Salary

• Full-time instructor: ¥4,000 – ¥6,500 / hour
  (depending on experience and certification)

🛂 Visa Requirements

Applicants must meet one of the following:

• Hold a ski instructor certification eligible for a Japan instructor visa

• Already hold a valid Japanese work visa
  (Working Holiday / Spouse / Permanent Resident / etc.)
